Once again Tractionkiting will be treating all the TK on Tiree6 crew to breakfast on Monday 2nd of August at 9am in the Cobbled Cow. No excuses for not attending allowed!!!

On Thursday we have booked dinner in the Lodge for 7pm and I have copied the menu below, If you can let us know ASAP if you are going and if you can choose what you want to eat then you will get the discouted price. Final numbers, orders and payment for the dinner will be collected at the Cobbled Cow after breakfast.

If you can pre-order with us by Monday 2nd August (we therefore have little or no wastage) we can offer the menus at £14.25 and £17.75 respectively.

TO START
• 2 Homemade Soups of the day served with bread & butter. 1 x (V)
• Chicken Liver Terrine – homemade terrine with pork sausage meat, chicken livers & garlic, served with oat cakes, gherkins and redcurrant jelly.
• Nachos layered with tomato salsa & topped with a melting mix of grated cheddar & mozzarella
• A little stack of haggis & neeps drizzled with a light whisky cream sauce


MAIN COURSES

• Oven baked Oban Haddock served with mustard and herb crust, new potatoes, salad and lemon.
• Homemade beef lasagne-a rich beef ragout layered with pasta & creamy white sauce grilled to bubbling. Garlic bread to garnish
• Tiree “Lodgie” Burgers – Homemade beef burger (100% beef) (or Veggie burger) served in a sesame bun with chips, relish, cheese, homemade coleslaw & salad.
• Homemade Chicken Curry – Served with boiled rice, naan bread and mango chutney.
VEGETARIAN
• Pear & Stilton Tart (v) – Our very own recipe & creation. Served with new potatoes & salad.
• Beetroot, Goats Cheese & Green Lentil Salad (V) – Slices of goat’s cheese atop a dressed salad of green lentils and mixed leaves, finished with sliced fresh beetroot.

PUDDINGS
• Homemade Apple Crumble served with cream or Vanilla Ice Cream or custard
• Vanilla Cheesecake – original American recipe, served with cream – Yummy!
• Ice Cream – Vanilla Ice Cream served with a shiny homemade chocolate sauce.
