thank you to ak bearings 2 Years, 10 Months ago
just to say thank you for brilliant service from the above mentioned. Tuesday last week i trashed/disintergrated a bearing on my rad bug, found akbearings via this site(thanks O) ordered new bearings on thursday and as if by magic on friday a set of 6 very reasonably priced bearing arrive:D . so far so good.
out pops five very sad and one dead bearing..but.. oops did i mention its a 2008 rad bug?
the ones i'd ordered didn't fit, a brief email to ak bearings, reply send em back and we'll send you the right ones, they also updated their site to show new model, saving other bodies confusion.
The return done the following day(sat). weekend passes no worries, chefs work weekend anyhow:x This morning, clatter on the floor, one set of bearings that fit.. woo hoo!!!!
thanks again for excellent customer care, all best wishes to madandy and his collegues at ak bearings. now i'm just hoping for better weather on days off!!

The saga continues, the next set of bearings stilll wouldn't fit:x
Andy sent a set of 15mm stainless, it now seems that this beast runs on 16mm axle bolts, just to be sure, after a chat to Andy last night, an axle bolt has been sent to him. yet again 11/10 for customer care. just curious if anyone else out there has had similar bother with the new radbuggy? is anyone else daft enough to have bought one might be a better question?

I can understand why the bolts might be made bigger since Mark Everritt now rides with them on their team, he was a Flexifoil team rider for years. He does some amazing jumps and I guess the bigger bolts will be to prevent bending.

Saying that, from the photos on the Radsail website it looks like Mark is still riding in his Flexifoil buggy!

Sorry we weren't able to help Iain. Would really like to know why Radsail chose 16mm bearings for the buggy and then choose to have them marked up as a 15mm bearing!

16mm bearings just aren't right!
