Hello there

Thought I'd just put down a few words to introduce myself - name's Martin and i currently fly BeamerIII 4m, AccessXC 6m and a Sabre mk1 9,5. Taking my first steps towards landboarding on a mates old BluEarth (must get a different board of my own).
Mostly fly in the area around Aviemore (loch Morlich for static and Glenfeshie gliding field for traction), but go to Nairn whenever time allows it.
Will be going to JAW this weekend so hopefully I'll meet some of you folk on here
Till then - cheerio :cheesy:

Hi Crabman

Welcome to the forum..... maybe we'll see you around the Inverness/Nairn area...

I'm wondering if your the person I saw snowkiting out the back of Aviemore (behind the row of houses to the South East of the main road through the town?)...? I saw the kite when passing earlier this year and was going to call in but was pushed for time that day so couldn't!!! I'm sure it was an Access XC that was flying.

Come and speak to us at JAW, just keep an eye out for some people with Dirtsurfers, 3 our of the 4 or possibly 5 people that have them are Inverness/Grantown based!!!

Also if you've been out at the Nairn Links recently you'll have probably seen us all before?

Anyway, probably see you at JAW....

Yes that was probably me having a wee shot of the skis on the football field in Aviemore  was on the XC that day. Unfortunately I never made it up the cairngorms. The snow was really good at the end of the season as well - gutted!!
Will look out for the dirtsurfers at JAW - don't expect me to ask for a shot though - I'm struggling enough on 4 wheels as it is
See you guys there

Thanks for the offer Jim, but I'll have to give it a miss though...
Yes - Mr Hairy-Static-XC-Flyer, that's me You're right, it did turn out to be a bit of a c**p day. Was hoping to give the board a go, but nae chance in that muck!
Them shows didn't make life much easier either. At least they're away now - let's hope it stays that way.

Hey Martin,
I'm another of those "special surfer needs dirt" from Inverness.
I'll be heading down with Newt (James) early Sat morning for brekkie at Ballinluig as well.
If you're looking for some competition about who is dodgiest on a landboard, then I'm your man. Winner (loser) buys the beer, and Andy (Kite highland) his Pina Colada (or are you back on Woo Woo's now Andy?.

I can sense the craic could be good this weekend p
