Im andy

I am studying website design in Dundee am now in second year and all is well.

I am originally from St Helens and so used to kite at Ainsdale in Southport. Now in dundee I was worried I wouldnt be able to get out and kite but thanks to the guys I have met and this forum I now know of loads of places I can go.

I recently got into landboarding and am loving it, but I had a taste of kitesurfing in Australia and I am looking at getting in the water again so thanks to everyone who gave me sites that are good for that.

Thats probably more information than you want but its tough now lol

I must admit this site is awesome there really isn't enough out there about kiting in Scotland

i think its a fine balance, its good to have a thriving kite community but at some point it may get too much. if you see vids of down south some of the beaches are mental with the amount of kiters so not sure that i would want that up here. that said in the highlands at least we are growing at a nice steady rate so not too worried at the moment.
oh and seen as you are in dundee, watch out for that guy jim and whatever you do dont buy anything from him

Glad you like the site, we are constantly working on new ideas and the likes so if you have any suggestions please shout out.
The site is here to promote the sport in Scotland and the nice thing about TK is most people have met each other so the banter is pretty good.
Hopefully catch up with you in St Andrews and we can add another face to the name.

There is nowt wrong with what I sell. What people do with the stuff after it's sold is their problem (barbed wire etc)
