Hi everyone....
Didnt realise Traction Kite had a forum until i was checking the Windfest in June..... Nice one....
Few of us from Troon will be travelling through for the event.. Looking forward to it.... Should be a blast...... Scotland is in need of more fests..... We had a couple at Troon in the past few years but think they are going to be few and far between.....
Well if anyone is looking to head to Troon to fly, get in touch and make yourself known to us at Troon... We're all very friendly and happy to help.....

Hey, another welcome to the forum lol. Considering I live in Irvine I've NEVER buggied at troon before in my life! :O
Is the site any good for some buggying? Or is it more suited to kitesurfing?
Will have to get over sometime soon and see whats happening . |

Hi James.... Well its good to be on a Scottish Forum....
Where abouts do you buggy then? I launched my first ever kite, Bullet 4.5mtr at the beach park, boy it kicked my ass... that was a fair few yearrs ago right enough...
Troon and Barassie are both good for buggying and kitesurfing.... If you get the tide out at Troon and barassie you get alot of beach to play with...
My mate Tony and i once buggoed from Barassie to Irvine and got our mate to pick us up at the beach park.... Awesome.....

I generally buggy at Stevenston, I personally enjoy the Grass at ardeer, but hate the beach there. As its practically useless. Have been using it for about six years or so now, If im counting right lol!
I'll be over at St A's on saturday this week. To see if my practised moves will still go down well on sand lol.

Hey Owain,
I used to buggy and land board, I was actually a qualified instructor but it ate into play time too much so left all that to Tony.... I mainly only kitesurf now.... Got rid of my land gear to buy my kitesurf stuff....... Now that the lighter nights are here i am hoping to get out more after work rather than holding off for weekends......
So can you send me some info on selling my gear at Just Add Wind..? Interested to see what the score is....

Yip, no problem about sending your the info, Im currently at work (TK isnt our full time job although sometimes I wonder!) so will get details to you later tonight.
I know what you mean about teaching eating in to play time but so far this year I have got a nice balance Also with the nights lighter I hope to get out on the water a bit more after work.
