New kite choice, mmm which one 3 Years, 7 Months ago
Right, just moved out my house and lovely Scottish Gas have got some credit to pay me. So me thinks I need to fill that 2.0m gap in my kite collection.

I've got a 1.5 Ozone Little Devil and a 4.0M Samurai.
The 1.5 is a nice easy break in kite, not a lot of pull but good to build up the confidence in. The 4.0M puts the fear of god in me lol

So I need a wee 2.0m to build up my fear of god lol

I've kinda got it down to 2 choices.

PKD Buster (II) 2.0 m

or

Ozone IMP Quattro 2.0 m

Any thoughts, experiences or advice

Hi IG,

Take a look at the 2m Ozone Cult.
I have the 2.5 and use it at the park or on the beach with my buggy when the wind
is up a bit. The Cult was the replacement kite for the Samurai but it's not as mad.

Had a 2m Buster and thought it was great till a dog killed it last week.

The PKD Buster is half the price of the Ozone Cult.

The Cult is tame compared to the Samurai and I personally preferred the Samurai, hence the reason I never upgraded to the Cult. I know some people who sold their Samurai's for Cults and regretted it.

The buster is a fantastic kite and the 2m is brilliant in the higher winds. Always liked the busters.

We might be selling some ex-demo / ex-teaching kit and their is a 2m Samurai in the bag. Still got plenty of life in them and all been well looked after if you were interested, but to be honest, for the price of the Buster 2m, I would go for that

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I'm leaning towards the Buster.

Owain,

I keep meaning to ask you to bring one along for me to try, but I've not been at St Andrews regular enoough because of committments.

I know TK sell PK gear, what can you get me 2 .0m buster for

Hope you like Orangey Brown )

Seriously though, the Busters are nice kites. The Ozone Imp Quattros are also nice and very well built...

Ye, the Quattros are good, bloomin fast around the sky as well!

We always have a buster in the van for demo so just shout, Im not sure the next time I will be in St Andrews but I will post on the forum to let you know
Drop an email to theshop@tractionkiting.co.uk and we can send you a price for the buster.
I think the RRP on the Buster just now is £88.00, have a look in the TK shop

ye. I never really liked the cults, tried a couple of different sizes and the power per size was weird, you would almost need to take out a size bigger compared with the sammi. We still have our sammi's and love them!
