1.5m Bullet lines. 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Hi all,
I have a 1.5m bullet. It was 2nd hand and i use it when i only have a few hours
after work for some fun at the park due to the dark nights.

It has 20m lines on it that i think could do with a change. How will it fly with 25m
lines or should i look for a new set of 20m. Will also use it for buggy in strong winds.

I thought the Bullets came on 25m lines as standard? I could be wrong. The bullet will fly fine on the 25m lines. You will have a slightly larger window to fly the kite in, because its the 1.5 bullet the chances of you noticing anything else are slim, it might produce a wee bit more power in the higher winds but its only 5m difference. If you were going from 25m to 15m you would notice a much bigger difference between line lengths.

In +45mph winds you need this kite on short lines like 15m. It flys well in 60mph winds but its hard to get up wind when the wind hits this mark.

Seriously though 25, 20 makes not a lot of difference. Greatlittle kite I still have one.

Yeah they come with 20m 135/90kg lines as standard. (I know because I sold mine )
The rest of the bullets came on 25's but the 1.5 had 20's.

I think I had it on 25m lines for a while then made some heavy-duty 20m lines. I couldn't see much of a difference to be honest.
