An elderly couple were having dinner at another couples home.
The wives left the dinner table and went into the kitchen.

One of the old gents said to the other one, "Last night we ate dinner at a new restaurant in town, and the meal was great. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a new place to dine."

The other gentleman replied, "Really, what is the name of the restaurant?"

The first old chap paused, then thought for several seconds and asked, "What is the name of the flower that you give to someone you really love, you know, the one that is the colour red and has thorns?"

The second gentleman said, "Do you mean a rose?"

"Yes" the first gentleman replied, "a rose".

He then turned toward the kitchen and yelled," Rose, what was the name of the restaurant we ate in at last night?"
