Just had an awesome weekend in Pembrey. For anyone who doesn't know about it, it's a massive beach in south west Wales with about 5.5miles available for kiting. Hard sand all the way up, getting rippley in the last half mile or so - no soft spots!
Been building up a nice quiver of kites over the summer. Got the 2.7m, 4m, 6m, 8.6m and 14m Yakuzas.

This was my first weekend to really give them a proper go (rather than at small gusty spots near home).
Had good enough wind all weekend - Saturday was fairly clean cross-shore, Sunday was cross-off with evil gusts (4m access only!) then Monday was onshore, starting off with 14m weather then picking up for the 8.6 :D
Managed to notch my PB up slightly on the saturday - 46mph now! 8)

Got some good
GPS tracks too.
Managed to work out suicide gybes (also later found out why they're called suicide gybes :x) and had so much fun doing them one after the other on the way back downwind - averaged around 40mph going a mile downwind :-o . Should be able to see it on the track - nice smooth curves down the beach :D
Then on monday it switched onshore and the sun came out. Had a load of buggies going full speed right down to the estuary in a nice pack - great fun!
Didn't get any photos but there's lots of nice ones
here
Now we get to do it all again in two weeks at the Life's a Beach festival! If any of you can manage to get to it, it's definitely worth it. Such a nice spot
