Evening all, going to be taking the wife up to St Andrews in near future and i am looking for some hotel suggestions. Taking new buggy with me so need some info on where to go with it and where not to. Cheeers Stu

Info about the kite zone at St Andrews can be found here: tractionkiting.co.uk/component/content/a...west-sands-standrews The last time I was up the flags were down but hopefully they will be replaced soon. Hotels, not stayed in any within St Andrews but there are loads: www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=St+Andrews+hotels&meta= O.

hotels are expensive the b&b,s better value u just need to check u can have an early breakfast they dont like getting uo early!! there are plenty to choose from and u can check out the accomodation before saying yes.....

Thanks guys. Just thought i would ask in case anyone had a recomendation. How long is the kite zone? As ive not quite managed to get up wind yet LOL.

Kite Zone is about 1.5 miles long if I remember correctly. Dont worry about upwind, if its a offshore or onshore wind then just cruise the length of the zone, turn around and come back again O.
