I was there during the whole record run - windy as hell, we had a wee buggy race just a short time before holding bags and chairs or just your arms out and the wind would push the buggy. Arjen was lucky he didn't get hurt when that Reactor boosted him backwards out of the buggy. The video cuts short because the kite wasn't down there it spun and dragged and bounced him a good 50 feet after this.
It was really cool to be there when the first few runs were done and only about 8 of us there, then after tweaking the bridle, changing kites etc more people came back to the lake just as he did the 124kmh run. I'm even in that video in a few places; tweaking the bridle a touch 4:25, watching the run 4:53 and a few other bits in the mix.

Got to fly some of the new Peter Lynn kites, had a good time except for a lot my stuff that was ripped off just when we arrived the week before.
