There is a big tropical storm hitting Florida, in the lead up to it arriving a kiteboarder was caught on video getting lofted and then thrown toward buildings - hurt pretty bad. The link was posted recently on a few forums here:

They've had lot's of notice about this tropical storm/hurricane and as usual the surfers and boarders get out for the storm surge and winds on the leading edge. I watched it again and the web site did a live news broadcast update saying they were setting up for a remote broadcast on the storm coming in and this happened just as they set up the van. the crew for the remote saw something forming with the clouds then a big gust of wind that blew all the equipment over and they saw the kiteboarder get lofted. They think it was a water spout that caught him (water spouts are tornado's that occur over water). Apparently it's a very busy street and he bounced right off the middle of the road before hitting the building) and last report on that news said he was listed in critical condition.
Here's another short video from a few weeks ago with a water spout that formed in Montreal as a severe thunderstorm rolled through.
