Hmm same applies to a Para glider? I would say modern kites are made to similar exacting standards? (especially by them that make both!!??)

Fancy a go at that, but off the nice low dunes at West Sands, NOT a rudy mountain!!!!

Got to be sure of your kite skills tho.............

the dunes at west sands arent really high enough to create enough lift to really soar with, might work better on short lines i guess. shell works ok though, think lunan could be awesome for it....

man this is so on lets go up the lomands with a kite and go for it hahahaha possibly not a job for a bunch of ebayed kit though hahaha lunan could well work......or the sea cliffs at arbroath! hahaha but seiously we would all die!

The huge dunes at Balmedie would work as well and there are a couple of sand bowls as well which would make for a soft landing IF anything went wrong
