Arrrggghhh need Advice on wrong kite 3 Years, 7 Months ago
OK folks,

After last asking for help on a nice 2.0 kite I decided on a buster II 2.0m.
After a little searching I decided to order from powerkiteshop online ( sorry tk, but was really cheap ).

Now today A kite has arrived.

Instead of the Buster i've been sent a Peter Lynn Pepper II 2.0m.

Is this a better kite ?
If it is can some kind soul help me at West sands set it up. I have NEVER had to set one up before, Have all the bits, Just never connected up the lines or anything before, my last two kites were already set up.

Thanks

Iain

As we say, we will try and match any prices and in this case you would have got what you ordered

Not flown the Pepper, I know Keith (Noggin) has.

flew pepper 1s and beamer 1s and to be honest they were pretty identical in the air so i suspect the same with the 2s as they are both aimed at the same market so should have similar characteristics (low aspect, good in gusts, low lift)

Hi

You won't be disappointed with the Pepper II 2.0m...

We have the 4m Pepper II and its a great kite..

Have a look at: http://www.tractionkiting.co.uk/kiting- ... temId=5094

Build quality is good, lines and handles are fine...

Kite is great for first timers and will pull you on a board or in a buggy in the right wind...

Finally, its as good as the Beamers and Busters so I would keep it...

just checked the price of both kites and TK are the same price on both!
Dont think you asked for a quote from us, we also offer a set up service and all advice is free....something Powerkite shop DO NOT offer. Always pays to shop local

Mmm yeah pays to buy local and get set up.

Although not being cheeky, but prices were different £88 on TK and £79 on powerkite.

And yes I realise, i'll be setting it up myself now lol

It always amazes me how tolerant we are when ordering things on-line. Let me just ask you this. You have seen the car you want. You pay the money. Then you get a different make and a different colour. Would you be happy to say O well I'll drive it anyway.

I DON'T THINK SO!

Interesting - you ordered one thing and got another. Why are you accepting this?

As for pricing & setup - if asked, TK will always match prices (won't you? ) and will meet up with you to discuss and help you with setup etc.

Although there should be instructions with the kite?

Better to risk breaking your neck than to never look up at the sky.
