TOPIC: Washing Powder
#10753
Washing Powder 5 Years, 4 Months ago
OK, another hot topic to help the Golspie newbies. Which is the best washing powder to get the grass stains out of the knees and elbows of my clothes?? Round about 20mph winds up here and very gusty (leading to stains which aren't green - can I use the same washing powder for them?)

All help gratefully received.

Thanks, Judith. Isn't it surprising that none of the blokes could help me out here???

I had a brilliant days kiting yesterday, the wind became too strong to stand up in so ended up shooting along the local hockey pitch on a little red plastic sledge, proving that I still don't have sufficient control of the kite to contemplate getting into a buggy yet

Fortunately the wind has dropped to zero today as my muscles are aching!

Is there any point trying to clean waterproofs beyond hosing the worst of the mud off?

My nice little cream-and-blue windproof kiting jacket has turned an unfortunate shade of brown with green streaks
Not too bothered about my black waterproof trousers.

Better to risk breaking your neck than to never look up at the sky.

If you want to re-waterproof your clothes, sounds strange but give them a wash in just Comfort, after cleaning the machine of any soap.
