Hi ive just started to fly and was just wondering if anyone is from or near perth or if anyone knows of any good spots near by except for st andrews as that goes without saying. :afro:

Welcome to the Tk forum.

Do you static fly or do you buggy / land board?

I have noticed a couple of parks in Perth that seem to be kiteable....but not sure on the councils thoughts on it. Plus I am not sure if the wind might be a bit gusty due to the trees and buildings....

If you fancy a drive Pettycur bay (Burntisland) is good along with Largo both are good for buggying.

How far are you willing to travel?

Actually you could say and then surf here. http://www.windsup.co.uk

Largo Bay best in a Westerly by far, and there is knowone there.
Black Rock another clean Westerly but best in a SE
Kirkcaldy Sea Front lol.

Ive just started out so static at the minute but i do have a buggy to learn on when i get a bit better with the kite, as for distance that one comes down to how good a mood the wifes in as i dont drive.
