Farm shop and cafe
When we arrived the car park was a nightmare, cars parked at all angles. we were ready to leave when a car moved and we managed to get parked.
The farm shop is like a jumble sale! There was stuff everywhere with no apparent order, fresh bread was on the same stand as jewellery!
Had a quick look round then went to the cafe area, it was very busy but we were seated right away. We were given menus but the specials boards were not pointed out to us, I had to get out of my seat to read them.
We ordered soup, a Panini and a baked potato which we were told would all come at once...they didn’t, food was good though, soup was homemade and tasty. Service was good for the cafe being so busy but there was a lot of staff, I counted 12 waiting staff which was roughly 1 to every 6 customers!
Did feel a bit rushed as there was a queue waiting for tables but it was Sunday lunchtime.
Just under £20 for soup, a Panini, baked potato and 2 soft drinks.
There’s a nature trail round the farm and lovely views of the loch
Liked the cafe, hated the shop and the car park is dreadful
